The Blonde Bear Tavern & Café NaranjaJon Mudder, spending his first season in Taos Ski Valley, is introducing the restaurant's new menu. Jon hails from the critically acclaimed BELLAVITAE in New York's Greenwich Village, where he was Executive Chef and owner. Joining Jon are Chefs Sophia Vigil and Josh Tate. Rounding out the team is Wine Manager and Mixologist Rushan Perera.

International cuisine, fresh and light, prepared under the direction of Chef Claude Gohard and served by your host, Jean Mayer, each evening, 6:30 p.m., throughout the ski season. During the ski season, enjoy hearty lunches slope side, on the deck of the St. Bernard. During the summer months, come for dinner during one of the Taos School of Music seminars.

The Historic Hondo dining room, complete with gleaming brass chandeliers and massive stone fireplace, provides a welcoming and complementary setting for fine dining. Menus reflect the homemade goodness of baked goods and sweets made on the premises, and offer a range of choices to please every appetite. Six-time winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, our food is as versatile and satisfying as our wine list. During the ski season, weekly Wine Dinners feature select vintages paired with gourmet dinner specials. Complimentary apres ski hors doeuvres.

The Inn serves three meals a day, from 6:30AM to 9PM in winter. In summer, lighter fare is served 8AM to 4PM, including breakfast and a long lunch at the Snakedance Grill on the sundeck overlooking the lifts.

Black Diamond Espresso is your place in Taos Ski Valley to enjoy exceptional espresso, coffee and mochas. We are the hot chocolate experts offering a fiesta of choices including dark, white and mexican. Our two locations provide fresh baked treats, chocolates, granola, juice, tea and many other fine products. Located in the resort center upper deck on the way to the chair lift, and in front of the Phoenix Grill at the Kachina lift.

Upstairs from Tenderfoot Katie's, is the HOT SPOT for après ski action. It is a wonderful place to meet with friends, enjoy live entertainment, play a few games of pool, and quench your thirst. With expanded hours, a new food menu, more games, and a new high definition flat screen TV for Sunday and Monday night football, the Martini Tree is the place to be. Located at the base of the #4 chair (the quad chair in Kachina Bowl), the Phoenix Grill is the perfect spot for enjoying lunch, watching skiers and taking a relaxing break from your ski activities. Whatever you are looking for, be it burgers, frito pies, pizza, sandwiches or soups, you will find it and other selections as well at The Phoenix. Beer and wine are also available with the purchase of food. Enjoy the outdoor deck, soak up the winter sun and work on that ski tan.

Located slopeside in the Resort Center, Rhoda's is open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 9 p.m. on Friday & Saturdays for lunch and dinner. We also do extended hours for Holidays. Lunches feature great soups, chili and overstuffed sandwiches in a quiet sit-down atmosphere. Take in the action at the base of Al's Run while sitting on Rhoda's outside deck.

Dinner at Rhoda's features excellent steaks, salads, pasta, chicken and seafood at affordable prices. The children's menu is fun and affordable. Dining is casual yet comfortable with a full bar, wine list and carefully selected micro-brews. Rhoda's is an easy stroll from any of the Ski Valley lodges or condos. This is the place to go for a quick, economical breakfast or lunch. The food is served promptly and there is a wide selection to choose from including burgers, tacos and sandwiches. Now featuring an expanded salad bar, with more than 25 fresh new items as well as low carb and "Fresh Fare" menu selections. We also have the addition of a self service soup station that will feature four fresh soups and a Texas chili each day. Tenderfoot Katie's also features daily specials, a deli section and big windows facing the slopes so you won't miss any of the action outside.

At The Bavarian Restaurant, you'll find Bavarian hospitality at its warmest in our acclaimed restaurant, where a wait staff clad in lederhosen and dirndls dispenses German specialties in an ambience of pure Gemütlichkeit. Wooden beams and log construction underscore the lodge atmosphere, while an authentic Kachelofen, a Bavarian tile stove, envelops the room with its gentle warmth. Our sunny deck is equipped with warming lamps that let guests enjoy outdoor dining in all but the most inclement of weather.

The gourmet menu features refined German dishes that are hearty but never heavy, a perfect way to enjoy a midday respite or replenish your strength after an active day on the ski slopes or the hiking trails. Choose among such offerings as Sauerbraten, Wienerschnitzel, or Käsespätzle, accompanied by a selection from our fine wine list or one of our specially imported beers from the Spaten Brewery in Munich. We also feature a full bar. For those who prefer a more American meal, we offer salads, sandwiches, and burgers.

The Stray Dog Cantina has been serving delicious Northern New Mexican cuisine since 1989. They have been a local favorite since then due to their award winning chile, delicious margaritas, and friendly atmosphere. This is the perfect place to unwind after a fun day on the mountain both in the winter and the summer.
